"Mediterraneo.hr" - exhibition of paintings by academic painter Claudio Frank. In his distinctive style, Claudio Frank prepared oils on canvas full of Mediterranean motifs from which springs the power of nature, with the scent and sound of the sea. The auction at the opening of the exhibition is hosted by Davor Jurkotić.

Claudio Frank was born in Opatija, on November 2, 1940. He graduated from high school for music in Zagreb in 1964, after which he performed as a violinist in the theatre orchestras of Rijeka, Zagreb, Trieste and Palma de Mallorca.
He began painting in the 1960s, receiving his first lessons from the Opatija painter Zlatko Faulwetter, and then the prominent Rijeka artist and art teacher Romolo Venucci. Frank has been exhibiting his work since 1974 in Rijeka, Opatija, Zagreb, Paris, Vienna, Venice. He has won many professional awards and recognitions.
In 1979, Frank graduated in painting from the Brera Academy of Fine Arts in Milan. During his studies in Milan, he perfected his violin skills, studying at the Giuseppe Verdi Conservatory of Music. For a long time after finishing his studies, Frank lived in Paris. Nowadays, his atelier in Volosko, with the violin and piano, breathes the colors and scents of art.
