The Town of Krk: 27 September 2023, at 05.30 pm World Tourism Day: From Karst to Gold - free interpretive walk through the old town Square of the Glagolitic Monks (starting point) Guidance in: Croatian and English languages Organizers: Town of Krk Tourist Bord In 1979, the World Tourism Organization decided to declare September 27 as the World Tourism Day, which is celebrated every year through special events all over the world, in order to strengthen the awareness of tourism and its economic, sociological, cultural and political significance! World Tourism Day will also be celebrated in Krk Town, with the following program: From Karst to Gold - free interpretive walk through the old town This get-together will be the perfect opportunity for local history and tradition buffs to revel in new fascinating stories and experience the impressive heritage of the old town of Krk from a different perspective, as suggested by the tour title From Karst to Gold. We all know how meaningful and precious the smallest things and moments in life can be. This interpretive walk will take you on a journey to find them.
