Omišalj is located in the north-western part of the island and is the first island town after crossing the Krk Bridge.
The historic town centre is situated on a cliff 85 meters high and dominates this part of Kvarner.
Malinska, once the main island port for the export of wood, and then the favored vacation destination for the Viennese aristocracy, is today a well known European vacation spot.
The town got its name from the mill that was constructed here in the 15th century.

This is not only due to the fact that Dobrinj has for centuries been an administrative, religious and cultural center of Dobrinjsko, but also because the recorded history of the Municipality of Dobrinj starts exactly with the mention of the town of Dobrinj.
Baška is one of the best known tourist resort on the island of Krk, the Adriatic’s biggest island ( 40.578 ha). Krk’s position in the northern part of the Croatian Adriatic makes it the closest island to Central Europe. Baška’s favourable location has ensured its continuous growth and prosperity, as well as a distinctive place on the tourist scene, making the town one of the most popular tourist destinations on the Adriatic.

Vrbnik is a small town of astonishing beauty located on a cliff 49 meters above sea level. Its position on a high rock, its houses closely built around a bell tower and the interwoven labyrinths of narrow streets provide a perfect destination for all those craving to experience the sentimental ambiance of irreversible times.
Although it is in terms of origin one of the younger (if not the youngest) villages in the Municipality of Dobrinj and although it does not have significant hotel capacities, Šilo is still the main tourist center of Dobrinjsko.
